Caribbean Sailing & Island Hopping
The Caribbean Seas
Set sail towards a world full of glowing pastel colours: the archipelago of the Lesser Antilles, the Grenadines and Cuba. Ideal wind conditions in the Caribbean Sea allow you to fully enjoy life under the sails. Only in idyllic harbours or hidden anchorages will be where the white sails are put to rest. On a Caribbean cruise aboard a tall ship, a whole range of destinations which cannot be reached by large vessels await your discovery.
A typical journey would start in Havana, Cuba, ending up in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic 10 days later. With its beautiful balconies, wrought iron railings and idyllic inner courtyards, a stroll through Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, brings you right to the heart of life in the city. A few days later, you’ll end up in another UNESCO-declared city, Cienfuegos. Known as the Pearl of the South, it owes its grand, romantic architecture to the French colonists who first settled there. Journey on, eventually arriving in Port Antonio, Jamaica - the pretty little town, surrounded by sugar cane fields and banana plantations, impresses particularly with its delightful beaches.
