We bring to you a 10-day Safari through East Africa’s most dramatic landscapes. You will start at a small and exclusive family-run lodge situated on private land. Evening sundowners with amazing views of distant mountain ranges, delicious meals served under the stars next to a roaring fire and the sounds of animals in camp late at night are just a small part of this magical experience.
A couple of days later you will fly to where few have ever ventured; and, with the flexibility of a helicopter, you will visit some of the remotest tribes on the planet. After overnighting at Addis Ababa – a melting pot of culture, past and present – you will fly to Lalibela, an ancient world with medieval rock-hewn churches carved from solid rock almost a millennia ago. It remains a place of pilgrimage for many of Ethiopia’s Orthodox Christians. The Simien Mountains await you next – whose peaks are likened to a chess game for the Gods. Last but definitely not least; the Danakil Depression – home to active volcanoes, sulphurous springs and some of the hottest temperatures known to man – is one of the most extraordinary places on earth.
