Sri Lanka
The Resplendent Island
Ceylon, Teardrop of India, Resplendent Isle, Island of Dharma, Pearl of the Orient. These are all the names by which Sri Lanka goes. It's richness and beauty deserve all the praise it gets”¦ With so many UNESCO World Heritage Sites within a small country, unbelievably green tea plantations and rain-forests, and the untouched white beaches (never too far away) there is little need to convince you of the beauty which await you. We will personalise your program down to the last details, but here’s a few hints:
Overnighting in The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, a World Heritage Site. On your chauffeured drive to Kandy, you can choose to stop by Minneriya National Park, where the largest elephant gathering in the world can be witnessed.
